Now, whenever a user visits the Reddit website with a mobile browser, a quick “See Reddit in” dialog box appear at the bottom of the screen asking you either launch the Reddit with the app or continue using it with a mobile browser. However, it is a convenient feature, but annoying for the users who want to use the Reddit website on a mobile browser in the long run.
Open Reddit website without seeing iOS / Android dialog box
Fortunately, there is a quick workaround using which you can get rid of this behavior keep using the Reddit website on the mobile browser without seeing any dialog box. Here’s what you need to do: Launch a Default web browser on your device and visit Reddit.com The “See Reddit in” dialog box will open asking you to select app and browser to continue. Here, you need to tap on the Hamburger icon available on the upper right corner. From the menu, select “Ask to Open In App (On),” and you’re done. The good thing is, even if you’re not logged in, this will set the preference. The next time you visit the Reddit website, you no longer see any dialog box. (until you clear browsing history or the cookies). Thanks, Deskmodder for the tip.
